What it is

The fund pools voluntary contributions, invited from clients of the corporation's operating companies, and puts them behind educational projects in Africa, from school supplies and fees to the small, concrete things that keep a student in class. It carries the corporation's own name on purpose: Mainfield answers for every dollar that moves through it, under the same name that signs its contracts.

Plain terms

The fund is a project of Mainfield & Co Ltd., a private company. It is not a registered charity. Contributions are voluntary gifts, are not tax-deductible, and buy nothing in return except the follow-up published as projects are funded.
